TAHS began its journey by innovating in educational technology and offering Business English programs to multinational corporations and governments.

  • 2001 – 2003, Developed e-Learning multimedia web contents (interactive text, video, animation) of Global Business Communication program.

  • 2003 – 2005, Provided books and CD-ROM on Global Business Communication to Boston University’s Graduate School of Business Management.

  • 2004 – 2009, Started to offer Business English Program to SAP, Purina, Westinghouse, SAS, POSCO, MKS, LG, Body shops, Boston University etc.

  • 2005 – Present, Established TAHS English Institute

  • 2005 – 2006, Provided consultation to Korea Minjok Leadership Academy, Korea’s top-rated high school and to Arirang TV, Korean government owned broadcasting service provider in developing English education programs

  • 2008, Collaborated with UMass (University of Massachusetts Boston) in designing the English Teacher Training program

  • 2009 – Present, Offer the Academic Seminar, a short-term program at UMass Boston, to KyungHee University (Korea) and Kyoto Gakuyen University (Japan)

  • 2009, Published “SEI TOEFL” books.

  • 2010 – Present, Started Intercultural Programs designed for middle/high school students from Brazil, China, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, and Europe in collaboration with public schools and Universities in the Boston area.

  • 2013 – Present, Provided UBCE (Universities in Boston CampusPrep Enrichment) designed to support international students to eliminate academic failure risks in U.S. colleges, and develop their global careers.

  • 2014 – Present, Offer Social Inclusion and Global Citizenship Education in Partnership with Educational Divide Reform (EDR) Institute, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

  • 2016 – Present, Offer Power of Hope, Business Entrepreneurship Training for North Korean Refugee Students”.

  • 2016 – Present, Started Step Up, Summer academic program designed for grades 4-8 in low-income immigrant communities.

  • 2016 – 2020, Provided annual “Bridging Generations with the Heroes of the Forgotten War” [Korean War] event in Andover, MA, and recognized by the Massachusetts State Government.

  • 2017 – Present, TAHS English Institute is accredited by the US Federal Department of Education’s commissioned CEA.

  • 2017 – Present, Issue I-20 (Admission document for the student visa) to study in the USA.

  • 2022 – Present, Provide Pathfinder program, a career and college planning program to high school students living in low-income immigrant communities.

  • 2024, May- TAHS Chairman Dr. Jang delivered a speech on “People-to-People Diplomacy for the US-Korea Partnership,” showcasing our nonprofit programs (Step Up and Pathfinder) at the 2024 Asian Leadership Conference, Seoul, Korea, organized by Chosun Media (조선일보).   • 2024 – MK News (매일경제) selected TAHS Chairman Dr. Jang for the Global Leaders Award. Introduction of TAHS and Dr. Jang was published in Korean by MK News.

  • 2024 – Pathfinder Program was extended to immigrant students of Chelsea Public High School.
